Onwards and Upwards for Two Newly Promoted Members of the Ladbrook UK Family
We’re delighted to congratulate two members of staff who have recently risen through the ranks. Both Freddie Henley-Hunter and George Johnson now take on the roles of Production Manager. Freddie, a senior welder and fabricator, has been with us for nearly a decade, having begun his career in September 2014.
Both men have a wealth of knowledge in different areas. Freddie’s skills lie in welding, fabrication and setting, while George, previously a senior storeman for over eight years and with a qualification in human relations, joins Freddie in developing their setting and programming skills.
Team players with ‘a great work ethic’
Works Director, Patrick Johnson, said he was delighted to be able to promote both these important members of the Ladbrook UK family. He added: “Freddie and George are both incredibly hard workers with a great work ethic.
They know how to keep a team together and get the best out of staff. Above all else, they’re both very personable.” The new roles will see them taking on all the manufacturing and planning projects in the factory. They will also be responsible for the daily supervision of other staff.
Ladbrook UK experienced rapid expansion
The promotions come at a time when the business is experiencing exponential growth. The past couple of years, in particular, have led to expansion and the need for more management figures.
Patrick added: “Freddie and George are both key people for the firm. They understand the business and are keen to ensure the smooth running of the operation. They’re also both very much customer-focused, which is essential as our customers are the reason we’re here in the first place.”
George and Freddie have already received both in-house and external training to help them hit the ground running in their new roles. Both also enjoy the full support of the Management team, and day-to-day support from the Operations Manager.
Past and present
Ladbrook UK is a family-run business with the second generation of the founding family still sitting on the Board of Directors. We’ve been based in North Walsham in Norfolk for the last seventy-five years and are committed to the local community.
The business began as a pressed part and press tool-making firm, servicing several industries as wide-ranging as furniture, armaments, electronics and auto accessories. In 1990 we invested in new technologies and diversified into other sectors - green technologies are one of these new niches.
George, Freddie and Patrick are joined by a whole host of other talented and passionate professionals who all come together to make the Ladbrook UK team.
