From design to delivery:
Sheet metal at Ladbrook UK
At Ladbrook UK, making top-quality sheet metal parts is about more than just skill - it’s about having the right equipment to get the job done well and on time. That’s why we’ve invested in a full range of LVD machines, all supported by smart, integrated software that keeps everything working smoothly. Together, they help us work faster, cut more accurately, and keep quality high.
Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at the machines we use every day and how they all work together to get parts from design to delivery.
Our LVD machines in action
LaserOne
Our LaserOne cutter is fast, flexible, and precise. It can deal with a wide variety of materials, including stainless steel, aluminium, mild steel, galvanised steel and brass. One of its biggest advantages is minimal setup time and zero tooling needed, which means we can get straight to cutting. This makes it ideal for anything from one-off parts to bigger production runs.
Dyna-Press
The Dyna-Press is a compact press brake designed for speed and precision. It’s a brilliant machine for bending smaller parts quickly without compromising accuracy. It also helps us meet tight deadlines on smaller jobs.
Easy-Form
Our larger press brake features LVD’s Easy-Form® Laser system, which measures every fold in real-time to make sure each bend hits the exact angle. This reduces rework, speeds up production, and cuts down on wasted material by getting it right the first time.
P-Series 1225 Punch Press
When a design calls for multiple holes or specific shapes, the punch press can often cut faster and more efficiently than laser cutting, with the same level of accuracy. This machine is particularly useful for jobs where repetitive punching patterns are needed.
From design to finished part
Why this matters
Thanks to this integrated setup, we save time on machine setup, reduce scrap metal by getting parts right the first time, maintain consistent quality across batches, and deliver orders in days instead of weeks.
How it works in practice
For parts that are mostly flat with lots of holes, the P-Series Punch Press is our go-to. For more complex shapes, the LaserOne handles the job perfectly. Once cut, the parts move to the press brakes - the Dyna-Press for smaller, simpler folds, or the Easy-Form for larger or more complicated bends. The Easy-Form® Laser monitors every bend in real time, making sure each one is accurate.
Better for us, better for customers
Since upgrading to the LVD system, our production is quicker, material waste has dropped, and our team’s workflow runs much more smoothly.
For customers, this translates to higher-quality parts, quicker delivery times, and the ability to order both small batches and large runs without any hold-ups.
The Ladbrook UK difference
Our LVD machines, from the LaserOne and Punch Press to the Dyna-Press and Easy-Form, give us the speed, precision, and flexibility to tackle almost any sheet metal project. By pairing cutting-edge machines with seamless software integration, we’re able to provide our customers with the right parts, right on time. Making precision easy and efficient is what makes Ladbrook UK stand out.
