A Year in Review - Ladbrook UK's Highlights of 2024
As 2024 comes to a close, it's the perfect time to reflect on the exciting milestones and achievements at Ladbrook UK this year. From new equipment investments to supporting charitable causes, it's been a year of growth, community engagement and innovation. Here's a look back at what we've been up to and how it’s benefitting our customers and the communities we serve.
Investing in cutting-edge equipment
One of the big highlights of 2024 was our investment in new technology to boost our capabilities and continue meeting our customers’ needs. This year, we added the KEMPI Master M 355 MIG welding machine to our production line. With its compact design and great power-to-weight ratio, it’s packed with various features and settings. The new MIG offers many benefits for our customers. One key feature, the auto pulse setting, helps us achieve a smoother finish with less mess, meaning less cleaning after the job is done. That speeds up production while ensuring every project looks clean and precise. By investing in high-quality equipment like this, we can work more efficiently, finish jobs faster, and continue delivering great results.
Expanding our services
This year, we launched a new metal signage service. Whether for business logos, memorial plaques, or custom designs, we now offer more signage options for our customers. One special project we worked on was creating a unique metal signage for Remembrance Day. This service has been really popular with customers who want long-lasting, high-quality signs. Supporting our community
At Ladbrook UK, we believe in giving back to the community that supports us, and this year has been no different. We’ve continued to support Remy’s Foundation, an incredible charity focused on raising funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital.
One of the standout events was AJ Johnson’s skydiving fundraiser, where AJ took to the skies to raise money for this worthy cause.
We also sponsored a charity football match and a golf day at Barnham Broom in August, where, thanks to the generous contributions from everyone involved, we raised an impressive £20,577.36 for Great Ormond Street Hospital. We’re grateful to all who participated and made this a successful event for such an important cause.
We also continued our support for local sports teams, including North Walsham Rugby Club and Overstrand Cricket Club, helping nurture community engagement and youth sports.
A decade of dedication
This year, we hit a big milestone with one of our team members. Freddie Henley-Hunter, our fantastic Production Manager, celebrated 10 years with the company.
Freddie’s hard work, expertise, and leadership have played a huge role in shaping Ladbrook UK into what it is today. His passion for quality and innovation keeps inspiring the team, and we’re very proud of everything he’s achieved in the past decade.
